Directions to the National Building Museum

We recommend that you take Metrorail. The National Building Museum is directly across the street from the Judiciary Square Metro Station on the Red Line.

Public Transportation Directions for Visitors Arriving by Plane or Train

Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport

Catch a B30 Metrobus to the Greenbelt Metro Station. Take a Green Line train to the Fort Totten Metro Station and transfer to a Red Line train toward Shady Grove or Grosvenor. Exit at the Judiciary Square Metro Station and follow the signs to the National Building Museum.

Dulles International Airport

Catch a 5A Metrobus toward L’Enfant Plaza. Exit at N. Moore St. and the Rosslyn Station Bus Bay. Walk a short distance south on N. Moore St. to the Rosslyn Metro Station. Take a Blue Line train toward Largo Town Center or an Orange Line train toward New Carrollton and exit at Metro Center. Transfer to a Red Line train toward Glenmont or Silver Spring. Exit at the Judiciary Square Metro Station and follow the signs to the National Building Museum.

Ronald Reagan National Airport

Take a Yellow Line train toward Mt. Vernon Square, Fort Totten or Greenbelt and exit at the Gallery Place Metro Station. Transfer to a Red Line train toward Glenmont or Silver Spring one stop to the Judiciary Square Metro Station. Follow the signs to the National Building Museum.

Union Station

Take a Red Line train toward Shady Grove or Grosvenor one stop to the Judiciary Square Metro Station. Follow the signs to the National Building Museum.
